Blurry Textures all over Skyrim
It seems that, while Dragonborn is supposed to have 20/20 vision in the wonderful land of Skyrim, textures are being downscaled to be seen from a distance and are never being upscaled again. This is leaving players with an extremely unappealing view of the environment.
According to Bethesda, this is due to an overlook in the Xbox 360's Hard Drive Installation feature. "Skyrim uses a lot of dynamic streaming systems, including textures," says a Bethesda community manager posting on the official forums. "We've seen a few reports of certain textures temporarily scaling down on the Xbox 360, and not scaling back up. We have verified that this issue does not occur when playing off the disk and when the game is fully cached (not installed)."
So, if you see any dodgy textures, odds are that it would be better to play the game straight off the disc. Bethesda are currently working on a patch to fix this so it shouldn't be long before you can get back to that short loading time goodness.
