Sniper V2 Elite Review
Recently, Phil's video has been stale as hell and I haven't been watching any playthroughs of his lately. Though, as seeing the game Sniper Elite V2 seemed to be a unique shooter and I decided to see how it goes out for Phil. So then after I watched Phil's "hateful truth". I'm not being a fanboy here and I am totally fine with his score 7.25 though his hateful truth was misinformation.
Firstly, I want to say that Phil needs to stop calling himself the "Average Joe" or "Average gamer" because he simply isn't one. A Average Joe/Gamer wouldn't play video games for a living, they would play around 2-4 games a month. Phil, on the other hand, plays around 20-30 games a month and 2-3 games a week.
A Average Gamer would be the person who plays video game as a hobby, 2 hours every weekend and would only buy 1-3 games a month. So stop calling yourself a average gamer, you're a hardcore gamer.
In the review, not once did Phil mention anything about masking your shots or silencing. It's a pity. It's one of the things that actually makes this sniping game unique than other shooter these days. Though you did not mention it. It's like reviewing Battlefield but not mentioning the vehicles.
Stop trying to make as if Bullet Drop is something unique. Bullet drop exists in many games, mostly in Battlefield games but Phil makes as if Bullet drop is the most unique thing in this game which is clearly not. The funny part is, Phil does not mention the unique part of the game.
Phil should also stop comparing Sniper Elite V2 to Call of Duty. They're not the same fucking games. Only relevance they have is being shooters. Sniper Elite V2 is not even a FPS game. It's like comparing apples to oranges. The whole point of Sniper Elite V2 is realism, being stealthy and being more thinking than rushing and absorbing millions of bullets like CoD. Sniper is like Dark Souls than anything. Making the ability of absorbing millions of bullets, as Phil said in the review, like in CoD,takes away the whole purpose of the game and turns the game into a generic shooter.
