  1. Compiling matches together isn't editing anything, it's the same raw gameplay in a longer video. That's it. The average viewer will be incredibly turned off by going to YouTube to find 30 2 minute videos every day for a week. You titling the video or me going to a playlist doesn't help me find the video any faster when it's day 4 and you have 120+ videos up because each match is it's own video. Explain to me why you can't put "Great Gief gives a great match" in a timestamp? And why is it so difficult to put matches in a video editor and click export when it hits 10-15 minutes? It shouldn't ta

  2. To be fair, all it takes is about 10 minutes of real research to figure out that Anita is a massive fraud. She's been saying factually incorrect things both in her ideologies and her "video series" but passes them as truths. And the "modern feminist" movement is so desperate for attention/to have some kind of popularity/identity that they refuse to actually see/acknowledge those untruths, and instead they label them as "unfair sexist attacks." Yes, Anita has been the target of massive amounts of sexualized threats and even death threats, but that doesn't make her RIGHT on anything. It just mak

  3. So with the release of Street Fighter V fast approaching I have kind of a suggestion kind of a request for how he should cover it. If he wants to play nothing but SFV all next week, fine. That's his prerogative. But he should, at the very least, not flood his channel with hundreds of 2-5 minute videos. He can still record each match seperately but I think, after the stream, he should compile the matches into longer videos with timestamps for each match in the description. Each video could be all of one character he played as or, if he played as one character, a few 10-15 minute videos of the f

  4. Honestly it is a borderline crime she is making very good money by selling hot air. Nothing of value. Worse than that, she's selling lies. Constantly. Poison for the young and impressionable. And she is doing it on purpose. She is not stupid to believe the constant lies, bastardized truths exiting her mouth. She knows she is bullshiting her way through life. She knows she is a fraud through and through and when her time in the spotlight comes to an end, she ll probably pay for it. You can full some people for a lot of time, you can full a lot of people for somsome time but you can'

  6. I personally see this thread as one aimed to "Demoralized & Manipulate" the fanbase that don't have the "knowledge" on how Youtube fully works and using 3rd party sites to make others think that Phil's business is in danger when it's really not. And this information coming from a "brand new" user doesn't make any of this legitimate or placed with the thought of concern for Phil. I'd usually deal with things like this differently but the answer is abviously right on our face black and white. It's better to just close the damn thread.

  7. Both because I want to see Phil play games he likes, new and old.

  8. Good points, Wowdude. I hadn't considered the length giving away the winner.

  9. I also agree with making the SFV videos longer. Just do a set of ranked matches in 25 to 30 minute chunks, no editing involved if you let the capture device run longer. I love watching your SF content but the one gripe I have is after the first round you can tell who the winner of the match was due to the length of the video. For example, if you won the first round the video would be shorter if you also won the second round. In a longer video there wouldn't be that issue. It just takes the excitement out of some of the matches when you can tell who the winner is after the first round.

  10. Okay, so I'm a new user, and honestly I'm one of the kinds of people who for the longest time would have billed themselves as a DSP hater. I'd constantly watch the DSP tries it videos and had an unwritten rule that I would never even so much as ever give Phil a single view. Anyways I've had a rough time recently that included losing my part time job and haven't told my parents which has led to a lot of spare time sitting in various cafes in my town while feeling incredibly depressed. But long story short, today I thought since the detractor videos are few and far between that I'd w

  11. I think you're making an assumption that because people have been putting up with this format it must mean they like it. I've never heard anyone say they enjoy watching content this way, but I have heard many people say they don't. It's entirely possible someone out there likes it, but it seems to be the minority and I can't imagine why anyone would prefer it this way. Again, especially for those that have to sit through ads. Yes, people want to watch him play SF so the views will be decent (especially with this view count generating system), but I have no doubt that they would be even be

  12. Bad news for the fans. The previous ones were unwatchable. I couldn't stand 5 mins of them. But I guess the kids love them? It's not transformers ofcourse, its a gargled mess of various vomit inducing subjects but transformers it is not.

  13. No, no, no, no, no, no, NO, no, NO. DSPGaming is for non-edited, raw gameplay content. Videos that are broken up at logical stopping points. In a game with stages, it makes sense that each stage is a video (see Naruto's Story playthrough from last week for an example of this). In that case, the videos could range from as short as 8 minutes to as long as over an hour). For games without defined stages or breaks, it makes sense to make the videos 15-30 minutes in length. When it comes to Street Fighter, the logical video length depends on the game mode. If playing Arcade mode

  15. Well I'm glad to hear that. I actually used to watch the show a lot before going to college before I just fell out of it because I kept forgetting about it. Besides tonight since I had to sing, I'm going to make sure I watch the entire season. Although I'm definitely not one of those older fans and I know my parents were excited for this season as I got them into the show and they've watched every season since :P

  18. From what was said in the pre-stream, Phil does intend to take on multiple playthroughs when he finishes his middle-of-the-road path he's taking on right now. If you ask me, taking on the pacifist run after this is a great way to reflect on everything he picked up on with the lore on his first playthrough and what's different about everything. Seeing a lot of backstory and lore for the 2nd time is the best way to absorb information for just about anyone. He'll just have to have to remember to follow the hint to return to that big scary fish house in Waterfall after he spares Undyne and
