  1. Since 2009, I have been following Phil. Through the thick and thin, I came to him to watch gameplay videos on YouTube. Ignore the negativity that he has gotten because I could care less about that crap. We can't just do this nasty bollocks online all day, everyday. We're better than this. I know Phil is. And for that, consider this a thanks for sticking around and still having the drive to move forward. Happy birthday, Phil.
  2. Hey Phil, would you consider doing a replay of Elder Scrolls- Skyrim for your ten year anniversary? I would love to see it.
  3. Stuff like Ace Ventura: Pet Detective are examples in when a character is reveal as transgender, it's use as shock value. That kind of stuff definitely wouldn't fly today as it will come across as transphobic. If you want to reveal that a character is transgender, don't do it for cheap shock value like it's imply in the trailer because what's the point of having a transgender character besides the cheap trite shock that serves no purpose?
  4. For the reveal of Rin. If they want to reveal her as transgender, there are much better ways than "She has a penis! Oh No!
  5. https://letterboxd.com/jordenwalker/film/bright/ My thoughts.
  6. When it comes to adaptation, it's all about getting good people who actually cares about adapting the piece they're working on. Someone told me that the people working on Dragonball Evolution didn't watch the anime. This practice I don't accept. If you are adapting a book, tv series , etc. you better study it.
  7. I would like to know, if you have seen Your Name, what are your thoughts about the upcoming American adaptation of Your Name, produced by J.J. Abrams and written by Eric Heisserer(Arrival, Lights Out)? Despite not seeing the original yet, I'm really looking forward to seeing the American adaptation. I'm not the biggest anime fan and after the seeing the controversy behind the American adaptation with Ghost in the shell and Death Note(which I haven't seen yet), the resentment shows me that the online anime comm unity aren't open minded when it comes to anime/manga adaptations. With Dragonball Revoultion, I get it. Something that The Anime Man said is that we'll probably never get to making a great anime/manga adaptation but as a lover of films, I think we could at least try. It doesn't need to be great, but it can be good. Even if the adaptation sucks, we'll still have the original product and nothing will change that. (A shocking revelation, right?) Nevertheless, I will see the original Your Name soon and will wait until it's American Adaptation comes out to see if it's good.
  8. Hey Phil. Just want to make a statement and give some clarity about my question for October's Ask the king. "previous Ask the king, someone brought up the topic of PC. I would like to know in your opinion, why do you think there's a uprising of an PC/social justice culture? I honestly see it pointless at best but unnecessary at worse and it's one of the things in own modern times that I turn a blind eye to." I'm not against social justice that are about bringing up issues on race, class, gender, or sexual orientation. Far from that. I'll happily support transgender rights and demand that there should be change on how the police in the US treat black people. That's not the type of social justice I'm against. It's the extremes of social justice/PC that I find pointless. Like what you talked about the Justin Timberlake Super Bowl controversy. People who make a fuss about the littlest things and get easily offended over and try push their agenda is the kind of social justice is something I don't like. Again, real social justice is something I do not have a problem against. Whether it's the black lives matter or women against sexual harassment in the workplace, I'm fine with that. But the kind where people are making a big issue out of something that's shouldn't be is not okay. I also want to take back on what I said about turning a blind eye to it and not being able to relate with people. As said, I will stand for social justice if there are real issues out there and will join people who wants to see the issue be solve. Thanks for your time and I'll try to be clear with my questions next time. Gunnerman1400.

  12. I just wanted to tell my opinions on the games I felt were bad.
  13. I played King Kong on the gamecube and didn't liked it. Hated that it took so long to play as Kong and didn't like the first person gameplay when your playing as an human. And then, there's Sonic 06. I wanted to like it. It has a decent soundtrack. His world is not a bad theme that I wish was on a better Sonic game but I ultimately agree with the masses that Sonic 06 is where the series hit an low point.
