  1. Haven't actually watched Fairy Tail yet, but the soundtrack seems pretty good. I decided to do a quick cover of the main theme. I learned it by ear so it might not be 100% accurate, but thanks for listening.
  2. I tried to do a cover of Unravel from Tokyo Ghoul. It's completely improvised and I learned it by ear, so it's probably pretty different from the original. I also decided to give it a slower ballad feel. It's not perfect, but thanks for listening.
  3. Dearly Beloved is one of my favourite pieces so I thought I'd have a go at covering it. If you're wondering what happened at the end, I made a mistake and had to cut the video. Thanks for watching anyway.
  4. I make music now and then, and decided to come up with an ambient/chillstep themed track. Thanks for listening. https://soundcloud.com/alcaknight/original-ambient-track-aqua-vitae
  5. Thanks. Also little update. Haven't made anything for months, but I did a quick AMV for Cowboy Bebop for a small tournament.
  6. Without a doubt Little Motel by Modest Mouse. Can't help but feel pretty emotional by the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqQTODR3kR8
  7. I doubt many people have heard of Kino's Journey. It's a really obscure anime, but I'm a huge fan and I fell in love with this track while watching the anime. Unfortunately it was never included in the official OST so I have no idea what it's called. Plus I couldn't find any sheets anywhere. This is the first cover I've done completely by ear. It's not perfect, but thanks for listening. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWeSCKeWpqw
  8. It's not a retelling. it's a continuation. The series is mostly episodic to begin with, each episode follows different characters. The plot that was used for the movie doesn't even appear in the anime. The movie is still worth watching though, but the series isn't a retelling at all.
  9. The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Stephen Donaldson. Seriously one of the best fantasy series I've ever read, and without a doubt up there with ASOIF in my opinion. Also 1984 by George Orwell. It still has one of the most haunting endings I've ever experienced.
  10. Painful History is one of my favourite tracks too. I'd probably have to say that Lilly was my favourite. She was the first route I completed, so I find her path the most memorable. Hanako definitely comes in second though.
  11. I love Katawa Shoujo's OST so I thought I'd have a go at covering 'Three Stars.' This piece in particular plays during the cinematic to Shizune's route. It's probably my favourite piece from the game so I enjoyed learning it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ3dO6dAquY
  12. Death Parade is a great anime which is airing this season. Really unique. I actually preferred the second half of SAO 2. It was slow in places, but the Mother's Rosario arc was done really well. I thought the ending was pretty moving.
  13. I wouldn't call that underrated at all. Plus it's probably one of the worst anime I've watched in my life. Kino's Journey, Haibane Renmei and Mushishi. Really obscure, but some of the most intelligent and creative anime I've ever watched.
  14. Update. Made a couple of piano pieces. Cantabile Berceuse Spiral
  15. Just watched the first episode of Aldnoah.Zero S2. Pretty good, but quite predictable for the most part. Also saw the first episode of the 2nd season of Durarara!! Really good as expected. Has the same feel as the first season, and it was a really good start. Started Kancolle as well. Pretty mediocre in all honesty. It reminds me a lot of Strike Witches and Sky Girls, although I did end up really enjoying Strike Witches. The art looks pretty nice at least, I'll probably stick with it.
  16. Really depends what kind of genres you're into, I can give my personal recommendations however. Mushishi - Supernatural/Occult Detective. One of the most creative anime I've ever watched. Seriously an absolute masterpiece which really gets you to think. Monogatari Series - Mystery/Supernatural. Kind of hard to recommend because it's not for everyone, but it's certainly one of my favourite anime. It relies a lot on dialogue, but it has the most witty and fun character interactions out of any anime I've seen. Worth a try. Start with Bakemonogatari. Neon Genesis Evangelion - Mecha/Psychological. I think every anime fan should watch this series at least once. It's rather polarizing though, you either love it or hate it. It has its flaws, but it's undoubtedly one of the most influential anime out there. Cowboy Bebop - Action/Sci-fi. Pretty popular anime and I'm sure most people have heard of it. Definitely worth watching.
  17. Still a beginner, so there's a couple of mistakes towards the end. After recording several dozen takes I gave up on trying to post a perfect cover and just posted what I had. Thanks for listening anyway.
  18. Just watched the first episode of Tokyo Ghoul √A. Quite a good start to the series. That was a pretty interesting twist in the end too. Looking forward to how this anime turns out.
  19. Just finished Nagi no Asukara. Really glad I watched it. I was putting it off for a while and I didn't really notice it when it started airing, but it ended up being brilliant. So many feels. One of the most emotional anime I've watched in a while, plus the soundtrack was amazing.

    Your PC Specs

It's been quite a while since I've upgraded, but here:
  21. I remember these. I started the first RPG but I didn't expect it to ever get popular. Didn't really have enough time to post in the subsequent RPG's though. I might try and come up with another RPG idea. I'd be interested in participating again.
  22. That's fine too. We can always stick a wig on him and pretend.
  23. Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
