  1. Guilty Gear is a really fast paced fighting game with a lot of mechanics that take time to understand and implement. Based on how frustrated he gets when playing slower games like MK and SF I don't think he would give it a fair shake anyway.
  2. Television is not a good example. Inside every DVR device is a digital tuner. When a scheduled recording begins the dvr tuner has to tune to the channel and record the content. Nielsen and similar companies have created metrics to rate programs and ad effectiveness on live views, dvr recordings and on demand viewings of the product. Ad's don't make a tv network the majority of their money. The majority of their money comes from the cable companies that pay a fee to broadcast their signal. You're doing the same thing you accuse those defending adblock of doing. You're making statements without any concrete evidence of it being theft. The definition of theft that you provided clearly states Per dictionary.com: theft the act of stealing; the wrongful taking and carrying away of the personal goods or property of another; larceny. you chose to emphasize the word "wrongful" but that doesn't seem very relevant to the conversation. If you're basing your argument on the dictionary.com definition above then it has nothing to do with what adblock does. Adblock does not take nor carry away the personal goods or property of another. I understand because of your business you don't approve of adblock but that doesn't make it illegal. I don't approve of people parking crooked in a shopping center parking lot but it's not illegal. Now, do I use adblock? Yes I do. Do I use adblock on sites like twitch and youtube? No because I personally like to support content creators whether I like them or not and I have some disposable income that I can use to pay for premium subscriptions. Just because I don't use adblock on youtube or twitch doesn't mean I condemn those that do use it on those sites. Morality is extremely subjective and again adblock is not legally wrong. There is no legal precedence and the idea of adblock being theft cannot be enforced because it is not illegal. Like Hazzer stated the Youtube TOS does not have any language in which it even implies that adblock is a violation of TOS. While I understand your frustration with adblock it doesn't make it ok for you to accuse every adblock user of theft under the guise of the law.
  3. Meth's new album was a little disappointing but this track is good old school hood shit. Straight Gutta - Method Man (feat. Redman, Hanz On, Streetlife)
  4. Got a chance to draw again. Anybody looking forward to Overwatch on monday?
  5. I wasn't a fan of the hub world in the first game but I'm looking forward to this game. Its some good mindless fun for a few weeks.
  6. What's sad about this thread is that there are lots of valid critiques that are goig to be completely disregarded in the future.
  7. Nerd Poker with Brian Posehn if pretty good. He basically gets together with some friends and plays Dungeons and Dragons. Nerd Poker And Critical Role from Geek and Sundry is a pretty popular one. They've done some on off episodes too. One of them was to promote Vin Diesel's Movie The Last Witch Hunter. Critical Role Playlist D&D with Vin Diesel Hopefully you dig those man.
  8. I agree. A focused podcast always gets my attention. I feel that if more people treated youtubes format the way people treat radio there would be a lot more success without having to rely on a youtube partnership because you go out and get your sponsors and ads yourself. I've checked out a few RPG podcasts and I enjoyed a couple of table top RPG podcasts too. Which ones have you checked out?
  9. Thanks for the love guys. Hopefully I'll get some time to draw again in the next few days.
  10. I was surprised to see that too. Originally they had a default message when Alex came out that you would have to buy him if you didn't have the season pass after a trial period but maybe they decided to change their position. Hopefully they don't change their minds a few months from now.
  11. personally I would like more long format talk radio/podcasts to transition to youtube. Especially now with apps like audiopocket you can convert youtube videos and just stream the audio files on the go. Edited content is great but I've always enjoyed the interaction between hosts and guests even though they might be unfamiliar with each other. As far as what I think they next big thing on youtube is going to be I'd have to agree with you that animation is definitely going to be big for awhile especially with Opentoonz being released for free. With animation becoming more popular I believe that will bring the rise of time lapse art channels as well.
  12. It was slow at work last night so I got the chance to draw.
  13. Villain wise you would have to consider Magneto, Thanos, Darkseid, Carnage, Dr. Doom, Apocalypse, Mr. Sinister, Joker, and Kingpin. The 90's kid in me demands it
  14. The end cards created are a great idea and they're simple. They don't need to be links to specific videos just links to his patreon, twitter, etc. A generic one could be created and added to the end of each video which wouldn't affect the render time given that it's a static image. Even if there were to be added video clips to the end cards the rendering could be batched and automated so while things were rendering Phil could go about his day doing whatever it is he does in his free time. It would take a little extra work and research but its no different from implementing new procedures in any business.
