Phil should play Mutant Year Zero!

Platforms: PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One Release Date: December 4th, 2018 PS4Pro enables: Atmospheric fog Point light cube map shadows A higher material quality UI resolution is 4k, the frame resolution is 80% of 4k "A tactical adventure game with turn-based combat and real-time exploration of a post-apocalyptic world, Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden puts you in command of a unique squad of mutant soldiers as you scavenge through the remains of civilisation to survive. From the creators of Hitman and PayDay, experience a mix of story, exploration, stealth, and strategy in the brutal environment of a decimated planet Earth as your band of heroes embark on a quest to discover the legend of Eden." TACTICAL COMBAT: Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is the ultimate fix for your tactical strategy addiction. Dive into a deep, turn-based, tactical combat system inspired by the XCOM game. EXPLORE A POST-HUMAN EARTH: Journey through a post-human world of abandoned cities, crumbling highways, and overgrown countryside. Check back at the Ark, a neon-bathed oasis of ill repute and questionable characters, to restock your supplies and plan out your next adventure. CONTROL A TEAM OF MUTANTS: A duck with an attitude problem and a boar with anger issues; these aren’t your typical heroes. Get to know Dux, Bormin, Selma, and many other characters each with their own unique personality and deranged perspective on the world and their situation. MASTER THE STEALTHY APPROACH: Sneak through shadows to avoid conflict or to catch enemies unaware. Real-time stealth allows you full control of approach: sneak into an enemy camp, position the team of Mutants to your advantage, and gain the element of surprise. UNLOCK MUTATIONS: Unlock new mutations and abilities for your Mutants, such as Selma’s Stoneskin, Bormin’s Charge, and Dux‘ uncanny ability to sneak into a camp full of enemies unnoticed, despite being a 4-foot tall walking, talking duck with a crossbow. DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT: Use the environment to your advantage. Stay out of floodlights, hide from line of sight, or just blast down fully destructible walls and buildings and wreak utter havoc. LOOT, LOOT EVERYWHERE: From makeshift slingshots to high-powered rifles and top hats to police vests, make sure you equip your Mutants for the dangers ahead. Nothing says post-human quite like a mutated boar in spiked metal armor charging at you with a blunderbuss in his hands. Cinematic Trailer: Gameplay trailer: It's a new release that won't be covered by a lot of content creators because it's not on AAA radar. Most likely you'll to be in the top of the twitch directory for the game (If people on twitch are interested in the game you'll be the number one stop for it) It's got turn based combat which I know you enjoy. It's got great looking characters and locations; nice art direction overall.

Ask the King Ep. 73: Nov. 22, 2018 Thanksgiving Special!

I don't even know what to ask since I feel like I already knowing everything there is to know about you. As far as personal questions go, besides being curious about how Kat and you met, I have none. You said yourself that there might be a point in the future when you will share the story on stream. Maybe this ATK episode is a good way to wrap up season 2018 with that story. As for general questions: You've said in the past that you have hit the plateau as a content creator. At the same time due to your financial hurdles, you cannot invest or set money aside to enhance your content i.e: new webcam, better lighting, stream setup in terms of either setting up a green screen or making your background more interesting. I know you have a metric shit ton of gamer shit in your house that would enhance your environment with visual appeal and reflect your personality better. Understandably the size constraints of your office would make redecorating a challenge: to have some of your posters and collectibles around and behind you would require the love seat to be further away from the wall. Now that I think about it however, when you stream pc games, the angle of your webcam is perfect to display tangible things that are part of your legacy. Do you think you yourself would enjoy streaming just a little more if you were surrounded by things that remind you of where you came from and how you got here? Perhaps it would help a little with your depression if you were to be around warmth and not sterile white walls. The viewers would give it a warm welcome as well. Now before you say "Oh but this is a place of business" No shit, but you're in the business of fun. Just something to think about. Gadgets and whatnot, yeah they cost money, but the things I mentioned in detail only require effort on your part and not a single penny. Just because you've hit the plateau doesn't mean you should stop improving and striving for better things. You make it sound like streaming is a dead end job for you but it shouldn't be. I feel like there is growing stiffness in you with each year, you need to let loose more often.

noticed that nobody made any fanart for red dead redemption 2 and I had a neat idea for a webcam overlay. here you go Phil this is a preview and the second image below is the png with all the transparencies: https://abload.de/img/reddarksyde_previewn3c47.jpg https://abload.de/img/reddarksyde_webcamiyi96.png

The spiderman overlay looks very kid friendly. The people who love the horizontal leaderboard bar will absolutely love the new thicc vertical one.

Well the size of the text for top tip/top cheer is in Phil's control. The overlay was made in mind with Phil's grip onto manual input. It's really just a suggestion on how to arrange the elements so that there is no need for a huge bar on top. The face cam overlay was made specifically to house the sub counter, which again can be updated manually, just keep the text on top. Furthermore, it's a wide ratio compared to the current one which is pretty much a square ratio that takes up a lot of dead space around Phil. Less dead space means a larger and cleaner close up of the broadcaster. Especially in Phil's case since his camera is pretty old and produces a blurry image. I consider it to be a decent workaround and improvement for not being able to spend extra money on a new webcam. It's also not just about space efficiency, it's about looking and staying modern with other streams. No matter how friendly the streaming business is, it is still a competition between broadcasters. Phil wants his channel to grow but he's up against other variety streamers in his class. I'm not a streamer therefore I can't tell him how to do that in terms of content improvement. However, as a graphics artist and an avid twitch viewer I can at least provide some guidance in the design department.

Fair enough, you don't want to take the risk with automation. But I am legit surprised that you think that the text looks tiny. Anyway I wasn't pulling your leg with the buttons, this is what it would look like: Ask your community either directly on stream or via twitter poll if they would prefer a simpler leaderboard/subcount layout. I think you will be surprised.

basically the idea is to use up the least amount of space as possible. Subcount is in your cam overlay. Top tip/cheer is right above or below the cam depending on the game in small font but still legible in 720p or 1080p. The twitter handle in the upper left corner is there if ever a clip of yours is used somewhere without any credit given, at least people know where to find you. As this isn't fanart, but graphics for a stream/business you'll understand if I don't upload the overlay for free. If you are interested, name a price you think that this is worth and I'll make new channel buttons for tips, tspring, etc. as well. edit: here's a tip page for muxy extensions and whatnot for automated stuff so you don't have to interrupt your gameplay to get someone on the leaderboard https://muxy.io/tutorial/stream-setup-ticker/ take a look at these from that muxy link, they would be most useful to you - Most_recent_subscriber.txt - Total_subscriber_count.txt - Recent_donators.txt - Session_top_donator.txt

Phil, this is what I was getting at when you were asking about the leaderboard bar being too big and intrusive
