  1. Anyone here, ever read the Groo The Wanderer comics? Especially the ones created by marvel? I like that old 80's comic series. It's really funny too. The hero Groo, literally puts Samurai X and that Conan dude, to shame with his antics.
  2. Yeah, no surprise. There are alot of comics and video games, that people have not heard about, or unfortunately, have been forgotten.
  3. So who here likes beat 'em up games? Eg. Final Fight, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Gaunlet, Double Dragon etc. And which ones are your favs? Here's some of mine dudes: Final Fight 1, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game, the old Golden Axe games, Bad Dudes, Gaunlet Legends on gamecube, Double Dragon on game boy, X-men arcade game. Barbie and Ken: Beat 'em up bean brawlers aka. Barbie and Ken heroic adventures.

Beat 'em up multiplayer action games!

We need some new sequels, to all of the old beat 'em up games. Eg. Final Fight, Double Dragon, Bad Dudes, Golden Axe etc.

    (Arcade/Sim) Racing game discussion!

Yesterday, I finally played a racing sim, called F1 World Grand Prix 2, on dreamcast/reicast. And "Holy beans burgers, this game is really good!" Like really super good! Guess I was right, all along. It's now in my list, of top favourite racing sim games. And I highly recommend to anyone, to play it or the original game, which got more respect, than it's sequel. Now I gotta play, the famous, original F1 World Grand Prix 1, which got way more respect, than part 2, which is the one I played. Mark from Classic Game Room, N64 and dreamcast fans etc were right. This racing sim game series, is really super amazing.

    (Arcade/Sim) Racing game discussion!

The Indy 500 arcade car racing game, is really fun. I remember playing it and even X-men vs. Street Fighter, many years ago after school. The music, loud car engine sounds and speed, made you feel like you were in a real race. Wow! I haven't played that car racing game, in over a decade. Lol!

Dude. What in the world, did I just see there? Yeah, that was a bad move. Elmo is going to destroy everyone, with his cuddly cuteyness. No weapon or magic spell, can protect, from his sorcery.

Beat 'em up multiplayer action games!

Ha! Ha! That last one was a silly joke. I don't think Mattel, would ever allow Barbie, Ken and crew, to be in a game beat 'em up game, like that. Lol! Unless they made the game, similar to the Simpsons arcade game, then it's probably possible. But yeah, that Barbie and Ken: Beat 'em up bean brawlers aka. Barbie and Ken heroic adventures, really does sound, like a real title.

    Sharon/Terry Bogard MADNESS (FEXL)

That Fighting Layer EX fighting game is really nice. I have to play it one day. I'm glad that Sharon is back. But Terry Bogart, wooah, now that is cool.

    Silver Surfer

So is anyone here a fan of Silver Surfer? Personally, I find him cool. A silver looking space dude, surfing though space, on a magical looking silver surf board, is a really fantastic idea. How the heck, did they come up with that idea? Lol! And in some ways back in the 80's, he looked so cool, that he was even able to rival spider man, as the main iconic posterboy, marvel character. Now that's quite an achievement.

    Silver Surfer

If ever the Marvel vs. Capcom series, by some blessing, gets great again, I hope they put Silver Surfer in it.
  13. Hey dudes! Okay. So I'm not a huge fan, of fictional vampire and werewolf horror characters/lore/games. But I will admit, Killer Instinct's Sabrewulf and Vampire Savior/Dark Stalkers characters, are cool though. But I know the Legacy of Kain series, and the Soul Reaver games, had a nice huge following, many years ago. And after many years, I'm finally planning to play, the dreamcast version of Soul Reaver, sometime soon or probably next week. So has anyone here, ever played Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver, on dreamcast, playstation etc? Or any of the other, Legacy of Kain games, like Blood Omen etc?

Anyone here ever played Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver? :)

Okay, after a good break from Soul Reaver, I started back playing it. And after solving some semi tough puzzles, in the cathedral stage, I realise I am now stuck.

    (Arcade/Sim) Racing game discussion!

F1 World Grand Prix 2 has some nice race courses. I love the Italy course. That's the course I use, for training. When you select a course, the game has a mode, where they teach you tips, on how to drive and what strategies to use, to turn some of the corners, on the particular course that you have selected. That's a pretty neat feature. Apparently, the actual real life F1 drivers, were the ones who supplied the tips, used in that game mode. Wooah!

    What Are You Reading?

I'm reading some dreamcast game manual pdf's, and reading moveslists for fighting game characters, these days.

    Pit Fighter

Who here remembers Pit Fighter! I remember seeing this game, when I was small. And for some strange reason, I still don't like it. But big grown adults, back in the early 90's, strangely loved to spend, lots of tokens on this game. When it came to 90's martial arts games, that had digitized actors, Mortal Kombat was more my kinda thing. Believe me when I say, I have never played Pit Fighter. Instead, I used my tokens on games, like SF2 Championship Edition, SF2 Hyper Fighting, MK2, Bad dudes, World Heroes 2 and other games. So have you guys played Pit Fighter? Or did you do like me, and casually avoid it?

    Pit Fighter

@MoraMoria Yep. I agree with what you said. Especially the essence part. That is spot on. The retro style sprite designs and clunky animations, are what makes Pit Fighter, Pit Fighter. There are just some things, that can't be replaced.

    Silver Surfer

I agree. It was such an utterly, retarded idea.

    Pit Fighter

If they ever make a new Pit Fighter game, I'm curious to see, how many copies/digital copies, will sell.

    Silver Surfer

Yeah. I agree. But at least that cloud, was super scary though. I give them points for that. Especially that part in the movie, where the giant cloud tentacles, break into the earth. It looked like a super scary alien monster movie. Yeah. Poor Spidey. After a few hits from Silver Surfer, his spider sense will be tingling, all over his body. But from what I know about Spidey, he is a tough cookie though, and not easily pushed over. And from what I've seen in the old cartoons, many years ago, even when he's defeated, he wins and saves the day in the end.

    Silver Surfer

Ah! Makes sense now. It was a really interesting post though. When I saw the name Silver Surfer, I had to read it. Because I didn't hear about Silver Surfer, for a very long time.

    (Arcade/Sim) Racing game discussion!

Monaco Grand Prix from Ubisoft. Released on the dreamcast. Some reviewers say, the game is a disappointment, but still recommend it, as a great racing game to play. Now that is interesting. But I understand, where they are coming from. I agree the graphics in that game, could have been, like way better. More importantly, the controls. One thing I must say, is that Ubisoft should have put more time and effort, in their games back then. That was one of the things, that always kinda annoyed gamers, with Ubisoft games. Great ideas, but they strangely always seem to fall short, with either graphics, controls, or the gameplay. But at least their games, are still fun though. I'll play Monaco Grand Prix, one of these days. Hopefully, I could get a physical copy of this game, when I get some more change. Wow! So there is a rare online edition too. Now that is cool.

    Silver Surfer

@MDCFAN101 Yeah Surfer is really cool. He's really iconic too. I agree with you on that. I have also heard comic fans, say that same thing for many years too. And a few years ago, I found out from fans, that apparently, Silver Surfer, like Ryu from SF, actually holds back his full potential. It's kinda sad, that with all of that power, that giant Galactus God dude thing, was able to force poor Silver Surfer, to serve him unwillingly, for a long time. I was actually surprised, when I found that out years ago. Because I never knew that. I was like dude,..........for real?! That sucks. I remember that post. It was a really interesting read too.
