They're all on my to do list (or might-never-do list).  I feel like as I get older RPGs are too much of a time investment.  They have to be -really- good to be worth my while and I'm skeptical that anything can beat the best RPGs I've already played.  The only ES game i've played is Morrowind and I wasn't a huge fan (although I immensely enjoyed Phil's Oblivion playthrough).  Skyrim has been languishing on my hard-drive for a while unplayed.  Mass Effect I own the second game but it never hooked me enough that I got past the first 40 minutes of gameplay.  I think I have the original Fallout on my gog account but never broke it open--I'm a bit closed minded when it comes to non-fantasy rpgs, the post-apocalyptic theme is a turn-off but maybe I'll overcome that and discover a great game.

I chose Mass Effect because that's the only series out of these three that I actually completed all the main games in the series. I've only played Oblivion and Skyrim. And I only played Fallout 3.

in order:

1. Fallout (have the Fallout Trilogy on PC, 3 and NV on 360, and preordered 4 (pipboy edition) on PS4)

2. Elder Scrolls (have 4,5, and Online)

3. Mass Effect: I just bought the ME Trilogy on PS3. i'm still on 1.

I Like JRPGs as well, such as Final fantasy, and I think Tales of series... but I'll have to go with

Fallout :) and kindof a ways away Mass Effect, just cause it's a bit too complex at times and I groan when I think of getting back into it... somewhat like Elder scrolls, but moreso that the world is a bit too large for me... =\

for me it depends on a few things. the game's Pacing,The Battle System (for JRPGs), and the immersion.

the RPGS i like are.

Fallout 3 & 4.

Elder Scrolls 4 and Skyrim.

Final Fantasy.

Kingdom Hearts.

Undertale.

Dragon Age 1&2

Dragon Quest 9

Mario and Luigi.

System Shock (if that counts)

Persona 4.

may be a few others.

------------------------

Still havent played:

Mass Effect 1-3

and a few others

------------------------

Can't seem to get into (probably because of the battle system)

Earthbound

Chrono Trigger

may be a few others also.

Not a fan of any of those three games. But I still took part in the poll.
