Sicario: Day of the Soldado - Review (2018)

The Good
Josh Brolin & Benicio Del Toro are fantastic in this even with a weak script they still bring their A Game.

Isabela Moner is way better in this than she was last year with Transformers: The Last Knight

Stefano Sollima decent direction

The Action great

It doesn't hold anything back like the first film.

Hildur Guðnadóttir's  amazing Score

The Bad
No Denis Villeneuve - Directing and  Roger Deakins amazing Cinematography

Surprising Taylor Sherdian's screenplay is hit and miss especially since he wrote the first movie and wrote Hell or High Water and Wind River

Catherine Keener is wasted

The Third Act is disappointing

Overall: While no where near as good as the first film of course its still a OK film even though no one asked for a sequel.

Overall Grade: C+

The Outsider - Review (2018)

The Good
Tadanobu Asano was good

Its violent at least with a lot of gore

The amazing Cinematography

The Bad
Jared Leto's Flat Dull phoning it in performance

Martin Zandvliet's horrible directing

The Generic Plot

There's a romantic Subplot

Out of place Cameo

It ignore important stuff

ITS WAY OVERLONG AND BORING

Overall: Once again another Shit Pile from Netflix that waste Jared Leto's Talents.

Overall Grade: F

Tag - Review (2018)

The Good
Jeremy Renner is obviously the best part of the film, which he's basically Hawkeye, but Renner shows he needs to be in more sequels.

Its surprisingly heartfelt

The action scenes with Rennet

The Fantastic Chemistry with the cast (except Wallis), Hannibal Buress is great

Isla Fisher is also really great probably her best role since Wedding Crashers

There's a crazy dark joke

It opens up for a sequel that involves team play possibly

The Bad
Annabelle Wallis's flat pointless role

The Premise isn't used to its full extent

There's a weird Tonal shift in the 3rd act that makes it from fully comedy film into sentimental.

Overall: Tag is a really fun comedy that will probably end up being very underrated.

Overall Grade: B+

Isla Fisher

Gorgeous and sexy woman, Sasha Baron Cohen is a great comedy actor and top guy, who deserves to be banging quality crumpet like Isla.

Ant-Man and the Wasp - Review (2018)

The Good
Paul Rudd is once again great as Scott Lang / Ant-Man showing more heart and comedy from the first film

Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne / Wasp steals the show showing that she can kick ass.

Peyton Reed's Solid Direction

Michael Peña as Luis is still hilarious, Tip "T.I." Harris as Dave  and David Dastmalchian as Kurt are also great.

Michael Douglas as Hank Pym gets more to do in this film which is a good thing

Randall Park as Jimmy Woo is a great addition to the cast as Lang's Parole Officer/ FBI Agent

The relationship between Scott and Cassie is one of the best parts of the film even though there's not a lot of it.

The visuals effect are pretty good, but the de-aging in these Marvel films just keep getting better and better.

The Shrinking and Growing Action scenes are fantastic.

Stan Lee's Cameo is great

The Mid-Credit Scene is great which leads into Avengers 4

The Quantum Realm is awesome.

The Bad
The Plot is basically paint by numbers simple

Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr / Ghost is fine, but compared to villains like Killmonger and Thanos for Marvel this year she's not on the same par as them she's not horrible she's just more a foil than villain

Walton Goggins as Sonny Birch is just a generic bad guy who just wants Pym's technology

Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster doesn't really do shit in this movie.

Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne is completely wasted she's only in the end of the film she does something at the end that just felt lazy.

Bobby Cannavale and Judy Greer are good, but they don't do much.

The Post-Credit scene you already saw in the trailer with the giant ant on the drums so yeah don't waste your time with that.

Overall: Not as great as the first Ant-Man, but it is a solid fun watchable sequel to Ant-Man that now has the Wasp, maybe for Ant-Man 3 give Edgar Wright a chance to direct.

Overall Grade: B

Cargo - Review (2018)

The Good
Martin Freeman's terrific performance

Ben Howling and Yolanda Ramke solid direction

The fresh take on a Zombie Apocalypse with more focus on character.

Simone Landers is fantastic

The cool practical make up on the zombies

Geoffrey Simpson cinematography

The Australia setting

The Bad
Susie Porter who I haven't seen since Attack of the Clones is a idiot in this film.

Some decision could of been made easier to make certain people live.

Overall: Finally a great film from Netflix, Cargo is one of the best films so far this year.

Overall Grade: A-

Skyscraper - Review (2018)

The Good
The Rock is good as always  and the Amputee Hero Storyline makes it interesting.

It at least knows its Guilty Pleasure Trash

The weird Final Showdown

Its thankfully short.

The Bad
The First Act is a Complete Mess which rushed its first 30 minutes just to get to the stuff in the trailers.

The Screenplay is stupid as fuck it wants you to turn your brain off, but even with that it males you even more stupid.

There's way too many god Dan characters to focus on and mostly the villains are weak.

Neve Campbell Is Disappointingly Wasted

The Visual Effects are horrible

Overall: Not completely awful just meh for a movie that a basically a rip off of Die Hard and Towering Inferno.

Overall Grade: C-

Gran Torino is arguably my favorite Clint Eastwood movie.  I love that film so much.  IMO, it is a masterpiece.

I liked this movie very much. I agree it is not as good as the first film, but still a good film nethertheless.

I would give it an 8/10.

Yeah I'm not a big Gran Torino fan I hate how Eastwood cast real people in his films cause their not actors

15:17 to Paris is like his worst film

His best to me are like Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby

Understandable.  Maybe he's looking for a complete accurate representation of the person during the situation.  Who knows.

Yeah you told about 15:17 to Paris.  I still have to check that one out.

I only remember parts of Million Dollar Baby.  I re-watch that film when I have the chance.

As for Unforgiven, I have to watch that from the beginning.  I saw only parts of it the last time I watched it and from what I saw it was good.

I also still have to see the rest of the Good, the Bad, & the Ugly.  I only watched the first hour of it.  During that time, I enjoyed it immensely.

Clint Eastwood you can consistent count on in making and doing good movies.

Eh not really hes really inconsistant

Jersey Boys was horrible cause he used theater actors and 15:17 to Paris was awful cause he used the real people
