Fear Street Part Two: 1978 - Review (2021)

The Good
Sadie Sink and Emily Rudd are the stand outs as you care about their characters.

Ted Sutherland as Young Nick Goode, but i still dint really care for the character as his adult counterpart.

The Atmosphere definitely feels the late 70's it definitely pays tribute to Sleepaway Camp and Friday the 13th.

The Soundtrack even though it does beat you over the head with songs just to tell you what era it is.

The Bad
The Camper Kills are off screen which is just fucking lame as the first Part had balls

Leigh Janiak's direction is not as strong as the first part.

The  kills that are shown are with the Counselors are cool, but theres no emotional weight cause you really don't give a shit about any of the characters besides the 2 sisters.

Ryan Simpkins as Alice is pretty bad in the movie.

Ziggy's and Nick's romance is not as impactful as Deena and Sam.

The Plot for Part 2 is pretty thin and rushed, and written pretty thin by Zak Olkewicz

Too much exposition dump with too many stuff going on.

Caleb Heymann's Cinematography is not as good.

The pacing as its too long unlike Part 1 felt the pace was fast and good.

Final Thoughts: Fear Street Part Two: 1978 is a somewhat fun, but underwhelming middle chapter of this trilogy, hopefully they can land the 3rd part next week.

Overall Grade: C+

Black Widow - Review (2021)

The Good
Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova / Black Widow
& David Harbour's Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian Steal The Show

Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow: is amazing as always.

O-T Fagbenle as Rick Mason is good.

Cate Shortland's Decent Direction

Eric Pearson's decent script.

The Opening sequence is amazing

Its definitely a Low Stakes action movie as it should be not world ending

The Action sequences are fantastic if you love winter Soldier and Civil War this isnpretty much that.

Visuals are great.

The Post Credit Scene that will set something very intriguing for Disney+ later this year.

The Bad
Ray Winstone's Dreykov who is barely in the movie and Taskmaster are very mediocre villains.

Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff / Black Widow doesn't do much

One scene that is supposed to be serious they put a joke which isnt funny.

The Plot isnt anything that great.

Final Thoughts: Black Widow is a good movie just not on the same level as the First Wonder Woman (minus the 3rd act), but its still a worth to watch especially when Florence will be the next Black Widow for the MCU obviously.

Overall Grade: B+

Escape Room: Tournament of Champions - Review (2021)

The Good
The two characters I didn't give a shit about Taylor Russell as Zoey Davis and Logan Miller as Ben Miller are back and surprisingly better in this one.

Thomas Cocquerel is good as Nathan

Holland Roden as Rachel is also good.

The Escape Room is much better than the first movies subway car and alot of the puzzles are better too with the Bank

They actually work as a team instead of 1 or 2 betraying each other.

The nice suprise.

The Bad
The First Movies recap in the beginning of the film cause no one remembers the fitst movie lol.

Indya Moore as Brianna unlike her great performance in Posex she is not good in this all she does is cry or scream.

Carlito Olivero as Derek is also meh

Adam Robitel's direction just like the first movie is not good.

You can tell this movie is written by multiple people cause the writing is all over the place not know where they want the story to go instead of just going to the  evil headquarters it hesitates

Theres no ending just another clidf hanger setting a 3rd movie without any answers just wasting your time, like how does Minos have all this money to do all this and why.

Listening the characters scream out shit is very annoying

When they get to the 3rd room its just garbage, editing is terrible and characters just stupid.

Kills are lame since its PG-13

Final Thoughts: Escape Room 2 is a pretty meh sequel that kinda far apart after the 2nd room to be honest and its just a set up movie for a potential 3rd movie since there is no ending and questions are never answered just feels like a waste

Overall Grade: D+

@sateler96,

I just came from seeing Black Widow.  I loved it.

However, I do have a couple of issues with the film.

My first issue is that I felt that Red Guardian was a bit overused as a comic relief.  Don't get me wrong, he was awesome, but, he was a bit overused as comic relief.

My second and final issue is that Taskmaster was wasted.  Seeing the character in action was awesome.  However, she didn't really get enough screen time nor character development which was the same issue I had with Ares in the first Wonder Woman film back in 2017.

Nonetheless, Black Widow is a fun and awesome installment in the MCU.

Grade: A-

Space Jam: A New Legacy - Review (2021)

The Good
Lebron James acting in the beginning is awful mainly cause of the script i think, but he gets better through out the movie

The Looney Tunes Cast Obviously

The Animation is fantastic though.

The jokes when its the Looney Tunes stuff is funny.

The surprise voice actors for certain characters.

I think the Montage for Lebron is almost better than the movie.

The Michael Jordan joke.

The Bad
Don Cheadle js a pretty generic villain with a dumb motivaton and my god his CGI at the end is AWFUL

Malcolm D. Lee's pretty meh direction.

The very terrible script that you can tell is written by multiple people so its all clashing ideas you should of just had Ryan Coogler write it and it prob would of been better.

The Big Game for the 3rd Act is never as good as the first movie's.

I don't give a shit about Lebron's son to be honest.

The over use of Warner Brother's IP's its almost a forced commercial for HBO Max as shitty streaming service, Ready Player One did the IPs better.

The plot is somewhat the sameehat the same.

The Goon Squad they face in the game are not as awesome as The Monstar and their CGI is trash.

The SNL looking stand ins for a background which is nearly laughable.

The CGI is hit or miss sometimes its amazing and other times its awful.

Through out the movie it feels like the first movie hmdid happen so why are they training for basketball.

Its too long.

Final Thoughts: While the first Space Jam isn't great its still more memorable and rewatchable than A New Legacy which is forgettable and won't rewatch.

Overall Grade: C-

Not a single mention of Lola's titties. Not a very comprehensive or professional review dude.

I just finished watching the new Space Jam movie.  I gotta say while I do feel it is a decent film, it didn't exactly have the same charm and heart the first one had.  I will say that the film's biggest problem was the villain.  He sucked badly.

Fear Street Part 3: 1666 - Review (2021)

The Good
The Cast who play the 1665 characters do a really good job

Leigh Janiak's strong direction is back from the first part same with script.

The Darker mystery.

Basically the whole 1st hour is a in depth flash back, and the rest of the movie is back in 1994.

No overuse of pop culture congs just creepy eery music.

No over use of slurs.

Twist and turns.

A mid credit scene meaning possibly more?

The Bad
The Pacing.

It is pretty long.

The kills are nice when you find the dead bodies, but would of likes to see the actual kills even those theybare brutal death outcomes

Final Thoughts: Part 3 delivers on a satisfying ending for the Fear Street Trilogy.

Overall Grade: B+

Overall Trilogy Grade: B+

Pig - Review (2021)

The Good
Nicholas Cage gives another fantastic performance i say its Oscar worthy sadly the Academy will ignore it, but its that damn good and raw.

Michael Sarnoski's amazing directorial debut and his screenplay.

Adam Arkin is great.

The Story is he has to get his pig back and its great.

The Pig is adorable.

Alex Wolff is really good too.

Cinematography is really good as well so its the Musical Score

The Bad
Really nothing

Final Thoughts: Pig is another film that shows Nic Cage is back even though im sure hes still doing other shit movies, hes still giving us gems here and there unlike fucking Bruce Willis.

Overall Grade: A+

Snake Eyes - Review (2021)

The Good
The Actors who play the characters are good like Henry Golding.

You understand why Storm Shadow hates Snake Eyes by the end of the movie cause Snake Eyes is the true villain just a dick. Which at least Storm Shadow was a good character.

The Bad
Robert Schwentke's Horrible Direction.

Henry Golding as Snake Eyes he is not the character, hes unlikable, a dick, and really just sucks as a character

Iko Uwais as the master is wasted hes always in these shitty Supporting roles where he should be the lead like he was in The Raid 1 & 2

The horrible writing that you can tell was written by multiple people.

The HORRIBLE Editing

The Shakey Cam action sequences, theres even shakey cam on walking scenes

The teailer spoiled the ending and mid credits scene

He doesn't get the Suit until the ending spoilers, but who cares this movie is garbage also no vow of Silence so hes talking if this shit gets a sequel (hopefully not)

As a G.I. Joe Origins film it fails on many levels

Bojan Bazelli as the cinematographer should be fucking fired from anything he does.

Its too long especially the opening.

Final Thoughts: You know you have a bad movie when Rise of Cobra and Retaliation got Snake Eyes right with Ray Park

Overall Grade: F

Old - Review (2021)

The Good
Alex Wolff is great for what he os given with terrible dialogue.

While the mystery was intriguing it just falls apart when its revealed.

Some creepy imagery

The Bad
M. Night Shyamalan's horrible Direction

The Horrible Dialogue from
M. Night Shyamalan's terrible script.

The Logic in this movie is dumb.

Gael García Bernal and Vicky Krieps performances are wooden

Thomasin McKenzie who is usually amazing is awful in this.

Shyamalan stupid fucking cameo where he literally looks at the audience.

The pregnancy scene its too far man.

Its very watered down by a PG-13 rating it should of been Rated R.

Its too long

Cinematography sucks

The really stupid twist and horrible ending.

Final Thoughts: Old is another stinker from M. Night Shyamalan which at this point after fucking up Glass I don't teust him as a director, also go read the graphic novel its 100x better.

Overall Grade: F
