Also the directors of John Wick 1 and 2 were the Secondary Unit directors (fot all the fight scenes) for Captain America: Civil War

I fear for this film. It could end up being a mindless action film.

The first film was by no means a perfect film. It suffered from too many action set pieces, which hurt it because the character was no longer being developed and instead was just thrown into one action set piece to another.

The most recent films to superbly embody hand to hand combat with weapons combat are "The Raid" and it's sequel "The Raid 2". Both excellent.
