Jack_Spartacus 2 Report post Posted March 7, 2018 I just tried to play street fighter 5 on steam today and it won't open....every place I look says to remove it from antivirus check list so I did...and it still doesn't work, anybody having this problem other then me? But in case anyone else is reading this topic: 1) Disable the antivirus softwares, active guard/shield protection option. Note, different antivirus software, call this option, by many different names. 2) Restart the computer. 3) Then run/launch the SF5 game. Normally this trick works. I did this with SF4 and BlazeBlue a few years ago and it worked everytime. PS: In some cases, it could also be windows defender, or something in the windows firewall, that's causing the problem.
