Viewer's Choice Nominations Thread: July 2020

Recommended Posts

Hello! Please post up games HERE that you'd like to nominate for the upcoming Viewer's Choice event! The games that are most nominated will make it to the poll that YOU will vote on come later on in July! NOTE: If we hit the next subscriber goal on my streams this month, the top TWO games in the upcoming poll will be played, instead of just one!

Some brief rules:

-The game must be readily available to be played on a console of this or last console generation, or easy to run on a PC. If it's on a current-gen system or on Xbox Live/PSN to download, it's perfectly fine. If it's only available on a physical disc that costs $100 and is impossible to capture to, it's not. Also, if it's a PC game that requires a mid-to-heavy graphical load, my PC won't handle it well, so chances are it's not a good idea.

-Nothing that I've already played before, UNLESS there is some kind of criteria for doing so. For example, don't nominate Dark Souls 1 again unless there's some kind of interesting variable to the run. If a game I've played before is being newly remastered/remade, that's a different story.

-No nomination of multiplayer-exclusive games with no ending. The point of this is a full playthrough, so nominating a game without an ending is pointless. Similarly, no MMOs or MOBAs.

-No nominating games I've repeatedly said I have no interest in (Catherine, Code Vein, Street Fighter V, to name a few) just to troll me. Those nominations will be ignored appropriately.

THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY to get me a game you've always wanted to see me play, and I haven't! So take advantage of it and good luck!

Final Fantasy Tactics: Advanced. it's available to emulate on the Wii U.
Half Life: Opposing Force. it's an iconic singleplayer expansion that takes place alongside the main story, you play as one of the military dudes sent to clean up the mess at Black Mesa.

I'm glad someone gets it. I mean it would be kind of silly for Phil to limit the number of nominations someone can make when only the highest amount of nominations make it to the next stage. People should literally nominate everything that they would like to see him play if they feel it can inspire others to make a similar nomination.

And I'll give your idea of specific conditions a +1 too :) After all, doing something with some hint of variety or change from the original makes it better than simply doing a possible rehash of a game he is played before. And if its a game he hasn't played, it just makes it so much more entertaining when the game is played in a certain style. That is why I can also appreciate @EternalNapalm's suggestions cause it puts a twist on simply watching Phil play The Witcher 3 again or doing just Ending A of Nier: Automata.

By the way, since you said you'd only leave "some out" for your list of every single game, maybe you can make your post just be a list of exclusions instead. It'll be shorter that way. But I don't know how the forum is configured so maybe you won't run into a character limit and have to use multiple posts. Just a suggestion :)

And then another platformer for little children is going to win again.

I doubt Witcher 3 on hard mode or actually finishing Nier:A is putting a twist to it.

No idea what the reason for still banning Code Vein is, but whatever.

The suffering. Real fans nominate N64 platformers, not Souls games.

He said he's going to finish BM when Xen is added. Now if he actually does it...

Yeah, but he's playing 1 game, 2 at most.

I bet anyone can decide to make a proper list that they're happy with, of let's say 5-10 games, and not leave something important. Nominating >35 is kind of ridiculous, and most will only get 1 nomination, as we've seen in previous threads. But "technically" it can be done, right? So nothing stops me from choosing 500 games.
