With Nomura in charge, it may be quite a while before we get a release date for KH3. Wasn't that why he was taken off of FF 15, cause he kept extending it without a release in sight?

For the record, I love the guy and his work, but his projects seem to drag on.

i heard KH 3 could come out next year it is in the Unreal Engine 4 which they said its easier for them to make the worlds then ever before

So i just watched Phil's Final Fantasy 15 video. Does Phil hate Final Fantasy or does he just not do much research when he makes these types of videos? "There's been a lot of drop off in quality

The sad part about this post is that people like you actually believe it. You've deluded yourself into thinking that's how my mind works. Maybe when I first started on YouTube and didn't "get it," but

First troll account, not even mad.

Kingdom Hearts 3, Half-Life 3, Freespace 3, Homeworld 3.....I don't know whats up with video game companies and 3 but they always seem to say "Let them wait 10 years" after the sequel.

well least KH 3 is a reality lol

we had to have more Disney movies and Universes to put in it

I understand him skipping The Division, prob Titanfall 2 and Call of Duty

but their delaying it to make the game better like im really nervous even before the delay to hope the game is amazing cause after how bad the 13 series were it left a bad taste in peoples mouth

even though 14 now is pretty good

i just want 15 to be good

Delays arent always a good sign. Watch dogs, duke nukem, and mighty no 9 were delayed numerous times and they still turned lut bad. Also the game has been in debelopment hell for over a decade which doesnt sit too well for me

People comparing this place with north Korea don't know what we are talking about... I wish it was though. If we where as enthusiastic defending Phil joing il Dongji There would not be much left of the detractors, LOL

You're taking this kind of analogy/joke far too literally. The analogy isn't supposed to be an exact fit (many analogies are imperfect in the same way), people are just drawing attention to the particular aspects of authoritarianism on the forum (I don't think you can deny this if you're trying to be honest) and intolerance of criticism towards the person the forum is centered around.

Maybe there's a more fitting analogy (you can also use safe space), but NK is one of the easiest examples of modern authoritarianism, so I can see why it immediately comes to mind. It's just an exaggerated joke, look up the English word "hyperbole" if you don't already know what it is.

He's been told for aeons that he needs to stop letting developer grudges make him biased (let's face it, this is probably related to the FFXIII trilogy leaving a sour taste in his mouth) and do more research, but this type of rambling never seems to disappear.

Not really, he's just being direct.

I'm trying to give Squeenix the benefit of the doubt on this one. At the very least, I don't think they'll make something totally repulsive with it being a main FF entry. It helps that I generally like the action RPG style they're doing.

Amazed that BSV is still allowed on here when he's saying this stuff.

The one moment you say it is fine calling me uptight, the next I am taking things to far. I can't take this seriously, I thought it was a funny movie, and I wantet to share it, since it was the shitposting treat I thought it was ok.  and listening to people going on about draconian sensorship here, it was fitting. Well since you don't see the humor in it I am sorry, I thought the video in it self was entertaining and worth a share.

And what the hell? It is ok to call this forum north korea, but not to make a joke about it?

I do not feel like the uptight person here right now to be honest.

You totally misunderstood me. I said he wasn't making a huge insult by calling you uptight, he was just being direct. And I never said you took things too far, I didn't even watch the video you posted. I said you shouldn't expect analogies to be perfect, but you were trying to do that, because you said this place isn't exactly like North Korea. The NK joke is deliberate exaggeration.

Quite right. Stuff like this needs to be called out, Viking. Then reported if needed.

On a totally different note:

Anyone else think guys are much more likely than gals to be awkward? Maybe it's my particular sample bias speaking, but it just seems that way to me. It almost feels genetic.

Girls are actually worse than boys in many ways.

My experiences in the field of customer service support this fully. Most awkward customers tend to be males, females are chatty and fun normally.

up·tight
ˌəpˈtīt/Submit
adjectiveinformal
anxious or angry in a tense and overly controlled way.
Used in a sentence:
"And what the hell? It is ok to call this forum north korea, but not to make a joke about it? I do not feel like the uptight person here right now to be honest."
-Uptight person claiming he's not uptight.

But any-who, yeah that makes sense KingBungHole, this is gonna sound mildly misogynist, but women have the power to express their emotions freely and openly while men are raised to never show your emotions, which could lead to awkwardness when a man enters a situation where he is suppose to be emotional (see's a girl he likes, suppose to cry, etc) and either conforms to the emotion or awkwardly suppresses them as society has taught men to do.

I see.

I kind of wonder if evolutionary psychology has explored this deeply, though I don't know how one would go about thinking about the subject in that framework.

I've certainly heard that line of thought before. I just wonder how much of this is a result of the culture, and if there's any innate predisposition for males to be this way. Talking about innate psychology is frowned upon by certain circles, though.

So... yeah. Just a mild curiosity on my part.

Haha, ok I begin to see maybe what you where getting at. I was a little fast reading it I suppose. Only now I can see it reads far too, and not too far. :D So I apologize.

Rigidly conventional, as in manners, opinions, and tastes: would also be a definition which was the one I used. And actually the one I felt guilty of when you complained about me being it.  I didn't feel very angry and anxious writing it, more bewildered over something I felt like an accusation. But I now understand was a misunderstanding.

I believe men have more control in general over their feelings. Because of the hormone balance. In a way so that a woman have stronger emotions.

My take is that men and women are equally awkward, but simply are seen differently. A guy does something awkward and it is awkward. A girl does the same awkward thing and it might instead be seen as cute. It applies to other things too, but what comes to mind most is beauty and sex appeal. I think the female form is naturally more appealing, naturally more attuned to being considered beautiful and admired than the male body, regardless of gender preference, and this is why fan service and being sexy tends to center around woman more. That's probably too simplistic of an observation and doesn't account for the why such as if it's a natural fact of the universe or the product of society or even something else entirely.
